Rod Snyder: Bio

Rod Snyder is a singer/songwriter from Shepherdstown, West Virginia. His debut full-length album entitled "Leaving Hollywood Behind" was released on July 22, 2006.

Rod advanced to the Hollywood Round on Season 4 of the popular television show American Idol where he competed in Los Angeles against Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice and other nationally recognized singers.

Rod is known for his political activism as much as his music. He served as President of the Young Democrats of America from 2010-2013 and previously served as president of the West Virginia Young Democrats from 2007-2009. He currently works in Washington, DC on sustainable agriculture policy.
